USPS IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH THEIR LIVE RATES FEEDS TO SHOPPING CARTS. THIS ISSUE IS NOT ISOLATED TO NERD DESIGN GROUP CLIENTS. IF YOU ARE A NERD DESIGN GROUP CLIENT AND USE THE USPS LIVE RATE MODULE, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A TEMPORARY SOLUTION. ADDITIONALLY, THE USPS SERVER IS SOMETIMES TIMING OUT, CAUSING ERRORS ON YOUR SITE. IF YOU ARE HOSTED WITH NERDY HOSTING, THIS SHOULD NOT AFFECT YOUR WEBSITE. IF YOU ARE NOT HOSTED WITH NERDY HOSTING, PLEASE CONTACT US ASAP SO THAT WE CAN INSTALL A PATCH FOR THIS ISSUE.

12/08/2008 - USPS Outage Update

USPS is currently experiencing issues with its Live Rates Production Server - an issue that has lasted at least 12 hours today. This issue is not isolated to web sites - anyone who uses that server to generate live quotes, such as local PO Boxes, are also experiencing problems. nerd Design Group will be attempting to create a table rate for its eCommerce stores to offer to its existing customers. This will serve as a failsafe in the event another outage happens in the future. Please contact us if you have any questions.
