  1. The catalog folder is not your root folder. If oscommerce is the only thing
    you are going to have on the site. then try uninstalling what you have
    right now, then reinstall without naming a install directory.

    For instance if you are installing from Cpanel or fantastico, when you
    install it, it will ask you to name the install directory, just leave that
    blank and it will install in the actual public_html folder,which is where
    you need it. 

  2. This is usually because you are missing a index.htm or index.php file from
    the main directory of your site. If you are using oscommerce as your site
    then you should have a index.php file in the main web directory. Depending
    on how you installed it, sometimes you might have installed into a
    different folder within your main directory such as “store” or “shop” which
    means that when you go to your main URL it is not automatically entering
    the right directory.

  3. Nice video. I’m having a problem with my home page. When i type my domain I
    get a INDEX OF page. How do i solve that issue. i would like to have my
    “home page” show up. Thank you Brad

  4. Jon, yes I am using oscommerce and I do see that I have a index.php file,
    it it located in my catalog file and the catalog is located in the
    public_html file. It looks to be installed in the correct file, but im not
