  3. yeah, definitely let me know. also should have asked, what version of
drupal are you upgrading from and to what version are you going? i.e., from
7.20 to 7.21. also, here’s a pretty good source of information, might be
overkill in your situation but never know, drupal DOT org /node/158043

  4. Yeah using the ftp method, deleting everything except from the site folder,
then uploading the new drupal core. I haven’t hacked drupal core at all or
any modules yet. I’m going to try again today, i’ll let you know how i get
    on….

  5. upgrading from drupal 7.17 to 7.21, cool will have a look. When i go to
delete the files from ftp i do get a caution: xmlsitemap.xsl.css has links
    to files you are deleting…..

  6. Thanks for this series. Here at (1:02) I see a image player with rounded
thumbnail controls on the bottom. I’m trying to implement that in my site.I
searched in google but i didn’t find proper article or video tutorial on
that.So can u please send me a article link regarding that implementation
or video tutorial. I have already implemented image player with views
slideshow but i couldn’t get that rounded thumbnail controls. Thanks lot.

  7. hmmm, that’s an interesting one. Which method are you using? the ftp,
delete everythign and reupload? are you deleting all the folders / files
except the sites folder and reuploading? are you sure that the .htaccess
file is being reuploaded? its in the root of the drupal installation and
can sometimes be missed because it begins with a period… did you hack
drupal core at all? or any contributed modules?

  8. Hi, When i update drupal core this way i get a white screen of death, i
then have to restore back to my old site to get it to work again…. Any
suggestions of what could be happeneing here? Thanks

  9. Ok, I got it to work by deleting everything from the server then replacing
the sites folder with mine in drupal 7.21 locally. I then uploaded dupal
7.21 to my server then it worked fine…..before i was leaving my sites
file on the server then uploading drupal 7.21 without it’s site folder,
everytime i done it that way i got WSOD.
